The Out Of Bounds Church – A Canadian Conversation

My friend and fellow Canadian blogger, Pernell Goodyear, is bringing together several Canadian bloggers to engage the excellent book “The Out Of Bounds Church?” by Steve Taylor of e~mergent kiwi fame.  The great thing about this project is that, in addition to posts exploring the content of the book, many of us will be participating in further conversation in the comment section, specifically looking at our Canadian context.

    This is great and I am really excited about this. There are, IMHO, a lot of resonnances between Canadian culture and Kiwi culture. So I am really hoping that this whole blog focus serves to get Canadian practioners talking Canadian missiology.

    Thanks for stopping by. I share your exciting and expectations for this project. Though my time in New Zealand was brief, I found a great deal of resonance between Canuck & Kiwi culture (and I don’t say that lightly, being married to an Aussie). Let’s get to it!
